“The delivery was extremely prompt but when the delivery man rang my doorbell, I was unable to get to the door - due to my mobility problem - quckly enough before he left and drive off. Fortunately, he left the package outside my front door and I speedily took it indoors. The only criticism I have of the curtain pole is that the screws supplied to fix the three brackets to the wall could be larger as, in my case, the screws went into breezeblock and, despite using rawlplugs, the heavy weight of my curtains resulted in one of the brackets immediately coming away from the wall resulting in my builder having the redrill the holes holding the bracket to the wall and for him to use larger rawlplugs and larger screws to secure the bracket to the wall.”

“The colour look pale, the pole surface shows no wood grain although it is wood. The coating on it makes it look cheap, first impression as if it carton gloss. Rings and the rest of the set show good grain. But rough on some ring. Not value for money - the coating on the pole spoils it all!”

Dear Lan Trinh, We are sorry to read your review. We would have appreciated it if you had contacted us by email regarding the issue you described, as that would have given us a chance to resolve it for you directly. Upon reviewing your order, we see that you purchased an entry-level pole set. These pole sets are not uniform throughout, and the wood can vary in shade and finish. For a more consistent and uniform pole color, we recommend our higher-end pole sets, such as the Laura Ashley Mitchel or Eden Natural Ash. We hope this information helps. Sincerely, Curtain Pole Store
